This cube, designed by Oskar, a Dutch man, is a maze through which a loop is interwoven. The position of the piece trapped inside can be changed by it being moved in a unique way. However, the dilemma is how to remove that piece. When first invented, the start point at which the piece could be removed was not fixed. However, following a suggestion by the late Mr. Nob, the furthermost position was made to resemble a face, and a clear removal start point was thereby designated. Theme: Space

Patented in America in 1965, this puzzle was originally created by Joseph L. Litle. The idea to make this puzzle came to me after playing with a wooden copy built for me by my close, but now deceased friend, Tadao Muroi. • Small, Chunky Cast Metal take-apart then re-asemble the puzzle.
• Slightly different design than the traditional Turkisk Puzzle /wedding ring. (The interlocking of the pieces differs.))
• Ring measures approximately 1.75 inches (outer diameter).
• Rated as a level 5 difficulty by the manufacturer (where 1 is moderate and 6 most difficult). Rating are always subjective.
• The key to solving is the ability to weave the five rings back together. Comes apart very easy.

Enjoy testing your mettle at putting things back together with Hanayama cast Ring II brain teaser puzzle. This is a clever puzzle which involves weaving the five metal rings back together into a single smooth band. The puzzle comes apart with ease.

Fairly challenging to put back together. NO force ever required, just clever positioning. The manufacturer rates it as a level 5 on a scale of 1 to 6. (Where 6 is most difficult, 1 least difficult). Rating are always subjective.

The puzzle measures /ranges approximately 1.5 to 1.75 inches (inside and outside diameters.) A little big to be worn on ones finger

RING II is part of a series of 35 plus cast metal brain teasers manufacturered by the Hanayama Toy Company of Japan.

As a side note for those familiar with Puzzle Rings: RING II is a slightly different interlocking design from the famous, many hundred year old, Turkish Wedding Puzzle Band Ring.
