Fiendish Japanese Pocket Puzzle - Enigma (Level 6) Feature

  • Metal puzzles are sure to perplex and please
  • Solid zinc alloy construction
  • Imported from Japan
  • No solutions included
  • 2" to 4" long depending on model
These palm size puzzles are almost too deviously evil to inflict on you and your friends. The moment these solid metal precision crafted monstrosities arrived from Japan, productivity at the ThinkGeek world headquarters dropped to an all time low as puzzle solving obsession kicked in. In fact we barely had time to write this description because we've been fiddling with these lovely things for days. The Fiendish Japanese Pocket Puzzles are based on classic mechanical puzzles from around the world. What makes these puzzles so appealing is how you always seem to be on the verge of solving them. The precision metal casting becomes apparent as you try to separate the parts of each one to solve it. They are just sooo close to coming apart you will be cringing with delight. Solutions are NOT included... but maybe if you call us and ask us nicely we'll give you a hint... that is as soon as we solve ours.

We're offering four different difficulty levels of the Fiendish Japanese Pocket Puzzles. We would rate level 3 as "solvable if you fiddle with it long enough". While level 6 is "insanely hard and requires some serious thought". If you solve one of the level 6 puzzles snap a photo and e-mail it to us... we'll certainly bow to your superhuman puzzle solving prowess.

H & H Hanayama Cast Metal Puzzle (New 2010 Design)

H & H Hanayama Cast Metal Puzzle (New 2010 Design) Reviews

Other Picture

H & H Hanayama Cast Metal Puzzle (New 2010 Design) Feature

  • Two interlocking pieces cast metal disentanglement puzzle. New 2010 Hanayama Design.
  • Can you take-apart the two "H" shaped (slightly different) pieces and then rejoin ?
  • Level 5 Difficulty on a scale of 1 to 6 (where 1 is easy and 6 most difficult.)
  • Small, compact, chromed, metal brainteaser. Approximately 1.8 inches long.
  • Tricky movements. It is like threading a maze.
H & H Interlocking cast metal puzzle from Hanayama Toys of Japan is the newest brainteaser in the company's line-up of puzzles. Two "H" shaped pieces have been carefully crafted with grooves and channels and join together through a seres of clever moves. The completed swirl shaped puzzles could be considered a piece of table top art.

The object is to take-apart the two pieces and then rejoin them. At a glance the two halves look identical. However there are very slight differences. Taking apart requires a minimum of 7 (maybe more) distinct movements.

H & H has been rated as a level 5 difficulty by the manufacturer. These ratings are subjective. Your experience can differ. But it is a good reference if you already own other puzzles in this series. (1 is easiest with 6 most difficult.)

Bright, chromed, compact, sturdy, pocket size brain teaser. Measures approximately 1.8 inches long.
